Praise the Lord

We Praise the Lord that Priscilla has been responding more over the last two days. She raised her hand! She has been moved to Room 5.
Pray that God will protect and restore her.

Doc asks for wisdom to know how to link the 4 parts of her brain and said Pris is fighting hard to live on. Please continue to pray.

Our Eyes Still On Him

Praise God Priscilla out from op about 3 pm. Now she has 4 shunts to drain off brain fluid.

The doc has done his best for Pris. It's up to God now ... Adrian.

Dear Praying Ones

Priscilla has gone in for an emergency op this morning. The frontal lobe of the brain is infected. It is a very dangerous surgery.

Please stand together in prayer.

They all joined together constantly in prayer.

The swelling on her brain has gone down. Antibiotics is being administered directly to the brain now. She is off the ventilator and breathing on her own now. Her digestion is better and she is able to move her bowels.

Yesterday, she had two fever spikes, with fits.

Please continue to pray for recovery. Join with Adrian in taking on the armor of God in our prayers.

From Adrian via sms: Today a Pastor from Taiwan prayed for Priscilla when he was here. When her case first started 4 months ago he discerned strong ancestral pact and bondage. He came just now to pray for her and said to continue to pray until bondage is broken in Jesus' name. Tks. (see prayer item below)

Be strong in the Lord and in His Mighty Power

Priscilla is running a high fever and went into fits last night and this morning. Pray that doctors and nurses can monitor her properly. Continue to pray until all spiritual bondage is broken in Jesus' name. Pray for God's mercy and healing grace for Priscilla and the family.

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Eph 6:10-12

Rom 15:30

I urge you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.

Priscilla came out of surgery around 9.30 tonight. A cyst (where much of the infection was located) was successfully removed in the lower brain. But other parts of the brain as well as the ventricles are also infected.

Please continue to pray that the antibiotics will be effective. They are considering applying the antibiotic directly to the brain.

Our Eyes are Upon You

3:00 pm today Priscilla has gone for an emergency operation to clear the lower brain of infection. Please uphold Priscilla and the family in prayer.

When facing his formidable enemy King Jehosaphat humbly admitted "For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you." 2 Chron. 20:12
Later the prophet speaks: "Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army, For the battle is not yours, but God's." 20:15 Verse 17 "You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions, stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you.. Do not be afraid do not be discouraged, go out and face them and the Lord will be with you."
In the morning, after he and all the people of Judah fell down in worship before the Lord, and the Levites praised God with a very loud voice Jehosaphat said, "Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld." And he appointed men to go ahead of the army and they sang "Give thanks to the Lord for his love endures forever." 20:20-21 And as they sang the enemy was defeated.

This is the Word of the Lord released last week through one of our PPH sisters. Let us continue to fix our eyes on our mighty God who is able!

Jude 1:20

But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.

Latest - the antibiotic is not reaching the brain to clear the infection. An infection is festering there. An MRI will be done tomorrow, and an operation scheduled for Wednesday to clear the infection.

Ps 88:2

May my prayer come before you; turn your ear to my cry.

Last night, the brain shunt (or external ventricular drain, EVD) had to be flushed, for it to drain properly.

The culture shows that the infection is still there. The EVD appears not to work well intermittently. A scan of her stomach is expected soon. She is not feeding well, and they are afraid there might be an abcess.

Please pray specifically for the 3 things above - infection, EVD and feeding. She has now been moved to hi dependency Room 4.

Eph 1:18

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.

Priscilla is back on the strongest antibiotic Polymycin again. Please pray that the culture will come back negative!

She is very critically ill.

Please Keep Praying ...

It has been a eventful day. Pris' heartrate dropped to below 50 in the morning. She went in for surgery around noon - to put in another shunt in the lower part of the brain (cerebellum) for drainage. She took a long time getting out (after 5pm). Then it was found that the shunt worked for a while, and then stopped working. After another brain scan, she went in again to re-position the shunt at 7pm.

She came out at 9pm, and this time there was pus in the cerebellum. If antibiotics does not work, she may have to be operated on again, to remove the infection. It will be a major surgery.

God, help us all!

Please Pray

As at Friday noon - "Priscilla is responding favorably to the antibiotics. The white blood count in her CSF has reduced from 4000 to 60. When it goes to 5, they will change her external shunt to an internal shunt. Next step after that is to remove the trachy tube. She is also responding well to a slow, continuous tube feeding. Off and on, she will have a slight fever. Please continue to be in prayer."

Priscilla stabliized

Priscilla's condition is stabilized now. She has not had a fever since 5am yesterday. The CSF appears clearer and is in for a lab test.

We would like to encourage visitors to read Scriptures of faith and pray over her. To build up her faith and trust in the Lord. Pray also that her digestive system will improve, it has not been working well lately.

Thanks for praying. As we aim for amazing grace, let us also build amazing faith.

Rom 4:18-22

Priscilla had bleeding from the brain this morning. Her blood pressure was low and she had a fever last night. Her mom stayed with her till the early morning.

Several people came and prayed. As of 12.30pm, her temperature is ok at 36.3. Her BP is ok at 110/70. They did a culture on her infection and have decided to give her a different antibiotic that will be less toxic to the kidneys. She came out of her drowsy state for a couple of short periods. Let's continue praying.

18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be." 19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead--since he was about a hundred years old--and that Sarah's womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. 22 This is why "it was credited to him as righteousness.

Jer 29:11-13

11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Pris has a brain bleed. Her condition is v v critical. Please pray for the bleeding to stop and for good response to the latest antibiotic.

Dear praying ones

There is infection in Priscilla's brain fluid [CSF - cerebral-spinal-fluid]. The fluid is cloudy and is not good. She has developed a high fever 2am last night.

Please pray for the infection to clear so that they can replace the external shunt with an internal one soon.

His grace is sufficient.
